Fall Concert Marathon!

We were fortunate to host 3 incredible concert weekends in a row at GCC.  With over 1000 audience members filling our sanctuary, the fall concerts presented a wide variety of music with stunning performances.  Kudos to all, thank you for sharing your gifts with us, and thanks to our GCC volunteers for ushering, setting up and tearing down for each event!

The Sing to Live Community Chorus , directed by Wilbert Watkins, is a chorus of 90 singers whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.  They’ll be back on April 16th to present “The British Invasion.”

Imprint is a new group directed by Marty Sirvatka, retired choral director from Glenbrook South High School, featuring alums from his many years of teaching.

Apollo Chorus of Chicago, under the direction of Stephen Alltop, presented a powerful fall preview program of music from the Messiah, the Duruflé Requiem and much more.  Click here for a video snippet.  Be sure to join us for their spring concert on March 16!
